Beaufort is on Wathaurung and Eastern Maar Country
Funding has been received to replace and repair unsafe and failing infrastructure around the lake. This will support an increase in usage, and support tourism and visitation. Improvements to the lake surrounds is also part of the strategy to improve community health and wellbeing.
