During an emergency

During an emergency, the response to emergency is a shared responsibility of residents and ratepayers, Council and, according to the emergency, emergency response agencies including but not limited to: CFA, VICSES, various state government agencies and VicPol. Council is always a support, rather than a lead agency.

Seek and monitor reliable information about what is happening and follow advice from emergency services.

Enact your emergency plan and escalate when the emergency does.
