Changes to Regional Assessment Services in Victoria

If you or a loved one needs to use the Regional Assessment Service for My Aged Care, the Commonwealth Government has advised the following:

“Changes have been made to Regional Assessment Services (RAS) in Victoria from 1 July 2024. This means that as of 1 July 2024, Pyrenees Shire Council will no longer provide RAS assessments for aged care in Victoria. The Australian Government has undertaken a tender process to inform which organisations will provide Regional Assessment Services in Victoria. Please be assured that there will be no immediate change to your position on the waitlist for a RAS assessment and you will be automatically transferred to a new provider once the tender process is completed. If you have require further assistance, please contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422.”

Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC-PYP)

The Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC-PYP) provides services to support younger people with disabilities (under 65), and their carers.
