Have your say on digital connectivity in the Pyrenees
Published on 13 March 2025
Thank you to all residents who participated in last year's Digital Connectivity Survey. This feedback has been invaluable in helping us understand the connectivity challenges faced by community. The insights provided enable the council to advocate for improved digital infrastructure across the shire.
We need your input!
Whether it’s your mobile phone reception or your range of choice in internet service providers, Council wants to hear your views on and experiences with telecommunications and connectivity across the Pyrenees Shire.
We recognise that telecommunications remain a challenge for many residents. To strengthen our advocacy and support future investment, we are seeking further input on the specific connectivity issues you are experiencing. Since our last survey, the 3G network has been shut down, and we are particularly interested in hearing about your experiences since this change.
To complete the Pyrenees Connectivity Survey, visit the Pyrenees Engagement Hub by Monday 7 April.
If you experience difficulties accessing the survey, pick up a hard-copy survey from the Avoca Information Centre, the Beaufort Resource Centre or the Beaufort Council office. You can also phone the Economic Development Team on 1300 797 363 for a survey and a reply paid envelope to return your completed survey.
