Three (very friendly) goats for sale by public tender

The Pyrenees Shire currently has three very friendly goats in its possession that were seized in accordance with the Impounding of Livestock Act 1994 after being found at large in Redbank.
As the animals have not been reclaimed by their owner, Council is now selling the goats by public tender as per section 19(3) of the act.
Details of the sale are as follows:
- 3 young adult Goats, two black and one white. All neutered.
- Impounded from Sunraysia Highway, Redbank 3477.
- Impounding Officer: Jacinda Perry
All goats have been hand-reared and are extremely friendly and approachable. They can easily be collared and led around and would suit a loving forever family home.
In your tender submission, please include the following points (note: the goats will not be separated).
- How large is your property?
- How the goats will be kept securely confined to your property?
- Do you have animal husbandry experience?
- The dollar amount you wish to tender for the three (3) goats.
The closing date for your tender is 5:00 pm on 25 August 2023.

The goats must be collected by their new owner the following day. If not claimed, they will be given to the next successful tender applicant.
Council can assist with delivery to your property within the shire boundary.
