Beaufort Lake Foreshore Project

We are excited to share the Beaufort Lake Foreshore revitalisation Concept Plan.

This project will be delivered under the Federal Government’s Drought Communities Funding program. 

Earlier this year, over 130 responses were received as part of the consultation undertaken, providing us with positive and clear feedback on the community’s aspirations and values for the Beaufort Lake Foreshore. 

Council has been very lucky to attract funding for this project and also to engage a landscape designer for the concept, bringing the collective vision for this site together. 

This project will deliver an attractive, safe and accessible space for all users and enhance our overall destination experience.

Key features of the Draft Concept Plan include native tree plantings, nature play equipment and dedicated vehicle parking and pedestrian access.
