Beaufort Pool closure update – Thursday 13 February

Pyrenees Shire Council CEO Jim Nolan has provided an update on the closure of the Beaufort Swimming Pool this week, saying that the current problems with the pool’s liner is likely to be a symptom of other issues.

Heatwave warning issued for Pyrenees region - Sunday 2 February 2025

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a heatwave warning for all of Victoria - including the Pyrenees Shire - for the next three days. Daily temperatures are expected to reach 36 degrees in the south-west district with minimum temperatures expected to hover around 19-20 degrees.
