Gender Equality Action Plan and Progress Reporting

Pyrenees Shire Council recognises the importance of providing leadership in advancing gender equality at a local level in an effort to contribute to this global responsibility.

As a local government body, Council can advance gender equality through the programs and services that it delivers to our community and by providing a safe and respectful workplace for our employees.

The Gender Equality Action Plan 2021-2025 is an internal Council document that will guide our actions over the next four years, providing a collaborative and equitable framework to progress workforce gender equality. Council is also required to report on the progress of actions outlined in the plan.
