Draft Budget 2026-27 to be put on public exhibition

Mayor Cr Damian Ferrari has urged residents to view the draft budget and financial plan and ask questions of Council. The draft budget features a 2.75% rate increase in line with the Victorian Government’s rate cap, an operating expenditure of $28 million and capital expenditure of $7 million.

The renowned art show will be held in the Beaufort Town Hall over the King’s Birthday long weekend. With art entries received from both local artists and from across Australia the event showcases an amazing array of artworks in mediums of oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastel, and mixed media.
